In order to help families make arrangements for childcare and prepare for the impending winter storm and its estimated arrival time early tomorrow morning, Corunna Public Schools will be closed Wednesday, February 2. Childcare will also be closed. Please take necessary precautions in lieu of the impending storm. Again, Corunna Public Schools will be closed Wednesday, February 2. PS: It actually feels good to make a “normal” school announcement!

Fellow Cavaliers -- As you are well aware, we have been dealing with staffing issues all year. Tomorrow, February 1, 2022, that will affect those students who ride bus 18 A (the brown bus). Due to a staffing shortage and lack of substitute bus drivers, we cannot cover 18 A’s route tomorrow. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience. Again, bus 18A will not be picking up students tomorrow, Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Should you have any questions, or more importantly, if you know of anyone who is interested in becoming a substitute or full-time bus driver, please call the transportation office (989) 743-4666.

Come join us in honoring our Employee of the Year-Shelley Gardner and our Teacher of the Year-Steve Herrick Please join us on Monday, March 21 in the Corunna High School media center for a reception to honor these Cavaliers. The reception will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with presentations beginning at 6:15.
