Our focus for the next few weeks with students will be rhyming and we are asking for your help. Remember all those silly nursery rhymes we learned as kids, well they were really important in helping us become readers and writers. Rhyming is a critical skill in emerging readers because it teaches them sounds, patterns, predictions, how language works, pre-writing skills, and other important skills.
