Leigh Anne Vlassis had a fantastic senior season in the fall for Girls Swim Team! A quiet leader who always put others before herself- Coach Golombisky had nothing but great things to say about this workhorse who helped shape the climate of the pool! SENIOR SPOTLIGHT- Bella Testa was gearing up for a mega senior season for Corunna Softball this spring! A fan of all-things Black and Gold- Bella could often be seen at events throughout the school year cheering on and supporting her classmates! SENIOR SPOTLIGHT- Alma Swim and Dive is getting an outstanding young lady in Marissa Jackson! A phenomenal workhorse in the pool- she gets after it equally in the classroom and will be a great ambassador for the Scots! SENIOR SPOTLIGHT- A star on the mat for the Cavaliers, Ty Anderson will graduate as a multi-time All State Wrestler! In the fall, Ty was a member of the Cavalier Football Team and in the spring he was an accomplished Pole Vaulter on the Track team! Kylie Brooks has turned into one of the most influential and helpful Cavaliers to go through our school in several decades. Her passion for all things CHS led her to give HOURS of her own time painting walls, picking up facilities, and being an overall outstanding ambassador of Cavalier Athletics! Kylie was instrumental in the return of the CHS Girls Golf Team this past fall and was poised for a monster Senior Season on the softball field and in the throwing rings for CHS Track! A mega-fan and contributor- we will certainly miss Kylie’s love and work toward Cavalier Athletics! #Gr82bGOLD
SENIOR SPOTLIGHT- Gabe Baumchen was a multi-sport Star for CHS and will continue his athletic career at the University of Detroit Mercy! A record breaker in football- Gabe was also a state qualifier in the 110HH in Track as a junior! A leader with an infectious smile- the Titans are getting a tremendous young man who we couldn’t be more proud of! #Gr82bGOLD
SENIOR SPOTLIGHT- Peyton Norton will graduate as a record holder in the CHS Baseball record books! A leader on the field, Peyton led the Cavaliers on the field in both Football and Baseball. A dynamic young man who loves his school- Peyton’s passion for the Black and Gold will be missed and we wish him luck as he continues his education at Ferris State! #Gr82bGOLD
SENIOR SPOTLIGHT- Elizabeth Norris was a leader on and off the court for Corunna Volleyball! A multi All-State player- Elizabeth will also graduate as the valedictorian of the class of 2020! The University of North Dakota is getting a powerhouse and a tremendous leader! Her accomplishments go beyond the classroom and the court-Elizabeth was an integral part of last year’s Girl’s Track State Championship team as a member of the 1st place 4x100 Relay! A Cavalier all her life- we will miss Elizabeth’s many contributions to Cavalier Athletics! Oh and TODAY is her birthday! #Gr82bGOLD
