Last night our 7th grade lady Cavaliers hoops squad improved their record to 2-0 on the season with a dominant victory over the Flint Kearsley Hornets. The final score was 44-1. Pacing the Cavs in scoring was Audrey Miller with 26 points. Addison Wibert, Molly Veale and Gabby Edington added 6 a piece. The team defense was stellar, holding the Hornets scoreless until the final 2 minutes of the game. Next up will be a battle with Davison on the road this Wednesday.

Yesterday the 7th grade girls' basketball team opened their season with a convincing victory at home against the Dragons of Swartz Creek with a score of 51-8. Leading the way for the Lady Cavs were Gabby Edington and Audrey Miller scoring 19 and 16 points respectively. The team's unselfishness was on display as they tallied 17 assists on their 22 made baskets. The team's defense was suffocating, forcing almost 30 turnovers and holding the Dragons to single digit scoring for the game. We'd also like to give a HUGE shoutout and thank you to our custodial staff for making the air-conditioned cafeteria available to us due to the extreme heat. This allowed our girls to stay cool prior to the game. YOU ROCK!!!
